Description

Pressure aging vessel is used to simulate the physical and chemical property changes which in bitumen called long-term aging or in-service oxidative aging after 5 to 10 years in the field.

The method involves oxidation of the bitumen in the TFOT / RTFOT followed by the oxidation of the residue in a pressure aging Vessel.
